Raiding Through The Ages

WoW,Raiding

We decided that it was time to touch on the World of Warcraft universe. The reference to MMO tactics last week left a couple of people scratching their heads, so today we want to see what happens when we really cast a narrow net. For those keeping track, it is in fact still Thursday.

We’ve gotten a little bit of feedback so far from the Joystiq exposure, but we really want to know what you people think of our little operation here. Please use the Contact page to leave us some comments. We’re looking to hear what people like and dislike, really anything that comes to mind. Seriously, anything is helpful. Personally, I encourage comments that contain references to tropical fruit… but I’m just a neat person like that.

I really enjoyed working on this World of Warcraft comic. I tried my best to get the look and feel of the game within the time I had to work on it (with my own style thrown in of course.) This is an idea we’ve had floating around for a long time and it’s awesome to finally see it come to fruition.

I used to be a big raider, way back in the day. I remember struggling through Molten Core and Blackwing Lair with my old guild. The one thing I never got to do was finish a Tier set. I got 7/8 Lawbringer (never got the helm >_<) and only 1/8 Judgement (which of course was the helm) even though I ran through BWL more than a handful of times. Since BC came out though, I’ve gone casual and the most I’ve done has been a weekly Karazhan and a handful of Gruul’s. I would like to see the rest, but I don’t have the time commitment available.

From what I’ve heard, Wrath of the Lich King will be friendlier to casual players for all the raiding instances. Not sure if I’ll be playing WoW for that much longer though…

As Mike has mentioned, I would also like to express my gratitude to all the visitors from Joystiq. Your comments, both positive and negative, continue to help us balance out the work that we do. So hopefully you will all continue to comment via the Contact page and give us the feedback that we need.

Thanks again all. =)
